LOTOS Group S.A. is one of the largest oil companies and concerns in Poland. The company is engaged in the extraction and processing of crude oil and the sale of high-quality petroleum products. Our cooperation with Grupa Lotos S.A. included the implementation of modern tools to improve intra-company communication and facilitate the organization of cyclical events. We made and launched a system for dispatching the corporate newspaper and a system for confirming registration for events.

Working with the staff of the Events Department and the Press Office, we developed the concept and implemented two IT solutions. The first one assisted in electronic registration of guests invited to cyclical events organized by LOTOS Group S.A. The second was an integrated system for creating and sending a regular company newspaper. The implemented application collects information from multiple sources, had an extensive content management system and a mass emailing module.
The cyclic newsletter has a different form depending on the target group: it has a graphic form, text form and the possibility of viewing the content in a browser. The form of the sent messages is selected depending on the Internet connection capabilities of the selected group of recipients.
Sending messages is done automatically on the basis of information taken from the articles entered into the content management system (e.g. summary with photos). The posted articles are divided into thematic groups. However, the system editor has the ability to compose any message structure for a given group of recipients. The module allows sending large message packages (up to tens of thousands of recipients) and advanced analytics of dispatch effectiveness.
