Team size comes from each company's website; all other figures come from its pimcore.com profile. Pimcore certifications = the sum of all certificate types listed in the profile (certified consultants plus senior, enterprise and junior developers). One person can hold several certificates, so this is not the number of people.

How we selected these companies

On 20 October 2026 we reviewed the pimcore.com partner directory and the profiles of all partners at the three highest levels. The list includes:

- LemonMind, the author of this list (Platinum).
- All Pimcore Global partners (2) and Strategic partners (3). These levels are awarded by Pimcore to a small group of international system integrators.
- The four Platinum partners with the most Pimcore customers among those whose profile lists offices in at least two countries. We used this criterion because this list is for companies looking for a partner across borders. At 45 customers, CAG Ateles and NETFORMIC were tied; we chose the company with more years as partner.

From each profile we took the partner level, the number of Pimcore customers, years as partner, offices and the number of Pimcore certifications (the sum of all certificate types in the profile; one person can hold several, so this is not a headcount). Team size comes from each company's own website. We do not rate the quality of any company's work. We update this list every quarter; if your company's data has changed, write to [email protected].

Other Pimcore partners worth knowing

Several Platinum partners with many Pimcore customers work mainly from one country, so they did not meet our international criterion: Basilicom (Berlin, 150 Pimcore customers, the highest number in the directory), Quellwerke (Eberbach, 75), papillo (Kaufbeuren, 73), Studio Emma (Bruges, 60) and Esse Solutions (Padua, 60). NETFORMIC (Stuttgart, 45 customers, offices in five countries) is tied with CAG Ateles on customers. Among Gold partners, CODATA (Kriens, Switzerland) lists 100 Pimcore customers.

If you are based in the United States, partners above Gold level with an office there include Happiest Minds, basecom, Factory.dev, NETFORMIC, scandiweb and diva-e. In the United Kingdom, Happiest Minds, Youwe and scandiweb list offices (pimcore.com profiles, 20 October 2026).

What do the Pimcore partner levels mean?

Partner levels are awarded by the vendor, Pimcore. The directory has five levels: Global, Strategic, Platinum, Gold and Silver. As of 20 October 2026 there are two Global partners, three Strategic partners and 36 Platinum partners.

- Global and Strategic: a small group of international system integrators working closely with Pimcore.
- Platinum: experts across the entire Pimcore ecosystem, with extensive experience in customising all Pimcore domains.
- Gold: advanced product knowledge and a successful project history; highly proficient in customising single Pimcore modules for mid-sized projects.
- Silver: digital agencies and system integrators specialised in at least one Pimcore domain.

The Platinum, Gold and Silver descriptions come from the pimcore.com directory. A higher level means more Pimcore certifications and projects, but it does not replace a reference from a company like yours. You can check any company's current level on pimcore.com under Partners, Partner Finder.

How to choose a Pimcore implementation partner?
6 questions to ask every Pimcore partner

The partner level is only the starting point. Before you sign a contract, check these six things.

1. What is your Pimcore partner level and since when? (check it in the pimcore.com directory)
2. How many Pimcore-certified people will work on our project?
3. Can we talk to a client with a similar number of products, languages and channels?
4. Have you integrated Pimcore with our ERP (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and our online shop?
5. Do you have experience with ETIM, ECLASS or BMEcat? (important for manufacturers and distributors)
6. Who maintains the system after go-live, on what terms (SLA), and who upgrades the Pimcore version?

How much does a Pimcore implementation cost?

The cost has two parts: the licence and the implementation work.

Pimcore Professional costs USD 9,900 per year and Enterprise USD 29,900 per year (pimcore.com pricing, as of 20 October 2026). The Community Edition is free under the Pimcore Open Core License (POCL) only for non-production use, academic and non-profit institutions, and companies with annual revenue under EUR/USD 5 million.

The implementation is priced separately by the partner. The number of integrations, the number of products and the quality of the source data affect the cost the most. Ask each partner for an estimate based on the same scope, and for the cost of maintenance and version upgrades after go-live.

How long does a Pimcore implementation take?

In LemonMind's projects, a pre-implementation analysis usually takes 2–6 weeks. A first working implementation with an ERP integration and 1–2 sales channels usually takes 3–4 months. Large projects for several markets, with many integrations and data migration from several systems, take 6–12 months.

Projects go faster when one person on your side owns the product data, the data model is agreed before development starts, and the first release covers one channel instead of all of them.

Working with a Pimcore partner in another country

Pimcore projects are often run remotely, so many companies choose a partner outside their own country. Central and Eastern Europe is a common choice for companies in Western Europe. Poland, where LemonMind is based, is one example:

- Cost: average hourly labour costs in the information and communication sector were €29.3 in Poland in 2025, compared with €58.5 in Germany and an EU average of €48.2 (Eurostat). These are employer labour costs, not agency rates.
- Time zone: Poland uses Central European Time (CET/CEST), like Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. For teams in the UK and Ireland the difference is one hour.
- English: Poland ranks 15th of 123 countries and regions in the EF English Proficiency Index 2025.
- EU law: a partner in the EU follows the same GDPR rules as your company, and a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is standard.

Whichever country you choose, ask who your day-to-day contact will be, which language the project runs in and how often the team can work on site with you.

Frequently asked questions

Our 2026 list: LemonMind, valantic, Happiest Minds, Youwe, GMDE, basecom, Blackbit, Factory.dev, DATASOLUTION and CAG Ateles. LemonMind is the author of the list and put itself first. The other nine are the two Global and three Strategic Pimcore partners and the four Platinum partners with offices in at least two countries and the most Pimcore customers, ordered by partner level and number of Pimcore customers (pimcore.com, 20 October 2026).

Check the partner level and the number of Pimcore certifications in the pimcore.com directory, then ask for a reference client with a similar number of products, languages and channels. Ask about experience with your ERP and online shop, with data standards such as ETIM, ECLASS or BMEcat, and who maintains and upgrades the system after go-live.

The cost has two parts: the licence and the implementation work. Pimcore Professional costs USD 9,900 and Enterprise USD 29,900 per year (pimcore.com, 20 October 2026). The Community Edition is free for non-production use, academic and non-profit institutions, and companies with annual revenue under EUR/USD 5 million. The implementation is priced separately and depends mostly on the number of integrations, the number of products and the quality of the source data.

No. The Community Edition is free for companies with annual revenue under EUR/USD 5 million, and the paid editions have a fixed annual price. Catalogue complexity matters more than company size: many variants, attributes, languages, channels or integrations speak for Pimcore. With a few hundred simple products, the product management in your e-commerce platform may be enough.

The pimcore.com directory has five levels: Global, Strategic, Platinum, Gold and Silver. As of 20 October 2026, two companies are Global partners (valantic and Happiest Minds), three are Strategic partners (Youwe, GMDE and basecom) and 36 are Platinum partners. You can check any company's level on pimcore.com under Partners, Partner Finder.

When you need more than product data in one system, such as digital assets (DAM), master data for customers and suppliers (MDM), a product portal or print catalogues; when your data model has outgrown the current PIM (many variants and technical attributes, ETIM or ECLASS); or when you want to run the system on-premises or in your own cloud. Plan the data migration as a separate stage and clean the data before you move it.

Yes, if the partner has references at your scale and works in your language and time zone. Many companies in Western Europe work with partners in Central and Eastern Europe: in 2025, hourly labour costs in the information and communication sector were €29.3 in Poland compared with €58.5 in Germany (Eurostat), and Poland uses the same time zone (CET) and EU law, including the GDPR.
